Kojic Acid

What it does

A brightener that fades dark spots and evens tone by targeting pigment. Often found alongside other brighteners in well-formulated products.

How to use it

As directed on the product, and SPF every morning without exception - both the ingredient and the goal make sun protection the multiplier.

What not to mix it with

• AHAs (separate strong products) - see Kojic acid + AHA

What it gets along with

Fine inside a well-formulated combination product - the formulator balanced the strengths. Hydrators and barrier support pair well.

Worth clearing with your doctor during pregnancy or nursing.
